Syngenta Stewardship Process

Grower Stewardship Agreement

Growers must sign and have on file the US03 version of the Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement. This agreement was recently updated in October of 2019 so please be sure to review the most recent version to stay up to date with all Syngenta stewardship requirements.

Prior to planting corn hybrids with Agrisure traits, growers are required to sign a Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of growing hybrids with Agrisure traits, including the terms of a limited license under Syngenta’s intellectual property, compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-mandated IRM programs and grain channeling requirements.

Only use one method, originals are not needed. It is important that you keep a copy of the Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement for your records.

Products requiring a Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement

Growers planting hybrids with Agrisure® insect resistant traits (Bt) must sign a Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement.*

*Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield®, Roundup Ready 2 Xtend®, LibertyLink® and ENLIST E3 soybeans sold through Syngenta also require a signed Syngenta Seeds, LLC Stewardship Agreement.

*For Enlist E3 soybeans, additional provisions and information on best management practices to be followed, recommendations and guidelines are at www.Enlist.com. Grower must follow all recommendations as set forth in the “Enlist weed control system Product Use Guide” of the corresponding correct year.

*Grower agrees to follow herbicide resistance management (HRM) practices, such as pre-and post-application field scouting and reporting. Lack of herbicide efficacy must immediately be reported to Syngenta.

*Grower agrees to provide Grower’s reasonable cooperation in connection with efforts to verify Grower’s compliance with stewardship, HRM and other requirements hereof.

Syngenta currently implements one agreement to suffice all technology requirements listed above.

*Brands covered under this Stewardship Agreement include NK, Golden Harvest, Syngenta, Phoenix, Catalyst, or Innotech.
